Dr. Samantha Sanderson Brown
Dr. Samantha Brown is a certified health coach through the National Society of Health Coaches, licensed psychologist, and former Division I soccer player who helps people navigate life's inflection points with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.
Whether facing a career change, retirement from sport, a health challenge, relationship changes, or another significant life transition, Samantha works with clients to make sense of uncertainty, reconnect with their values, and create a meaningful path forward. Her coaching is grounded in the belief that major life changes are not simply endings to endure but opportunities to adapt, reorient, and build continuity between who we have been and who we are becoming.
Drawing on more than a decade of experience working with athletes, high performers, and individuals navigating change, Samantha combines practical strategies with thoughtful reflection to help clients make decisions, strengthen their sense of identity, and move forward with intention.
Samantha is the founder of ARC Coaching, where ARC stands for Adaptation, Reorientation, and Continuity. She also serves as Assistant Medical Director for Player Wellness with the Major League Soccer Players Association (MLSPA). In a separate role, she is a licensed psychologist and owner of Beyond Sport Psychology, a clinical practice. While her background in psychology informs her perspective as a coach, coaching services through ARC Coaching are distinct from psychotherapy and are focused on personal growth, life transitions, and future-oriented change rather than mental health treatment.
At the heart of her work is a simple belief: when life changes, you do not have to navigate it alone. With the right support, periods of uncertainty can become opportunities to create a life that feels meaningful, authentic, and aligned with what matters most.
